Groesbeek is a wine village. Since 2001 six growers have tended vines here across more than 25 hectares, producing white, red and sparkling wine. The nearest vineyard lies three kilometres from De Wolfsberg.

There is a reason wine grows in Groesbeek. The village sits on the ice-pushed ridge: rolling slopes, a lime-rich loess soil and plenty of sun – exactly what vines like, and why wines from here win awards.
From De Wolfsberg you step straight into the landscape. The vineyard walk is about 8.5 kilometres along the slopes and the rows of vines; if you prefer to cycle, the WijnBoerTour covers 32 kilometres through woods, meadows and vineyards. At the end of September the Dutch Wine Festival takes place across four wine farms – in 2026 on 26 and 27 September.
