The area around Nijmegen is wonderful for walking. Thanks to the considerable differences in height, from which the municipality of Berg en Dal takes its name, you are treated to lovely far-reaching views. The many footpaths lead you past dense woodland, long stretches of meadow, vineyards and peaceful river meadows.
